In partnership with Banff & Lake Louise Tourism and facilitated by Bow Valley DEI, Banff Lake Louise Hospitality Association is pleased to offer DEI Training for Organizational Leaders 101.
Bow Valley DEI will provide a training session for leaders that follows the Bow Valley Pride Network’s Commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This session has been customized for organizational leadership and will focus on the respectful inclusion of both employees and patrons. Through exercises and examples, you will start a discussion on unconscious bias, privilege, and intersectionality. Leaders will then move into exercises about leadership style, culture creation and integration of the Bow Valley Pride Network 9 Steps.
This session is ideal for any leader looking to support the advancement of 2SLGBTQ+ equity and inclusion practices for both guests and employees within your organization.

Aurora is the Founding Director of Bow Valley DEI. She speaks and consults regularly with a variety of organizations and businesses about how to create spaces in which everybody truly belongs. She maintains a permanent position with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides as their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Mental Health Services Manager and applies this unique intersection of knowledge and experience to all of her DEI work.
